Hello! I need to get into one of my old blogs. It is at http://www.letmygerbilgo.com (it was a free WordPress blog I created in 2009.) The name of the blog is Everything but the Furr — My “name” associated with this blog is SurveyGirl46 BUT I no longer have the email associated with this blog. I think my email for that blog was (email visible only to moderators and staff). I have tried to gain access this email with no success; it’s been too long. I did have another free blog with WordPress – it was a humor blog regarding horoscopes and login name is PitLove and email addy is (email visible only to moderators and staff). When I go online and pull up Everything but the Furr I am already logged in BUT it is under PitLove (NOT Surveygirl46) and I cannot access my admin as the admin button is missing. So to recap – I can find my whole blog online, it says I’m logged in but I cannot get into the admin portion of the blog. My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Thanks !!! Lisa L.

So I cannot give you my email obviously – since it is redacted. How do you suggest that we contact each other if i cannot provide my email ? Thanks!

But letmygerbilgo.wordpress.com still exists. As you say you won’t reach it via the account you are logged in to now but you could with the username surveygirl46 and the correct password.

Hello magicrobot. I am aware it exists BUT when I try to do a password recovery or reset with SurveyGirl46, it changes to (email visible only to moderators and staff) and this is NOT the email assoc with letmygerbilgo. I am not sure what I did. In 2011 I started another blog (Demented Horoscopes or something like that) and wound up with another username (PitLove08 or just PitLove – again, no matter how many times I try to reset my password for SG46 it rolls over to PitLove, NOT SurveyGirl46. Again, I can’t even remember what email was associated with letmygerbilgo as I created that blog way back in 2009 and haven’t kept up on it for years now – and I seriously can’t remember the email. I have my old phone number though! Another thing, is that although it says I am logged into letmygerbilgo.com (Everything but the Furr) there is NO admin button for me to even go into my account. When I click on My Site, it says I have NO blogs created. Maybe I will call WordPress on Monday – these blogs were set up as free blogs i did not pay for anything. THanks :)

THIS is the message I get when I try to do the “admin” thing for Everything but the Furr:
User pitlove48 Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “pitlove48” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “everything but the furr…”. If you are not “pitlove48”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “pitlove48” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.Since I deleted my blog that was admin’d by PitLove48 there is NO admin information anywhere to invite myself in to fix my other blog…

If you have access to that email, you’ll be able to reset the passowrd and access that account.
