  Need to delete this staging version of my website. My normal website is perfectly fine. Please help! Thanks.

  In order to facilitate the deletion of that site, we’ll first need to manually downgrade it to a free site, which may result in the loss of any content created with plugins.

  I’m sure this is what you want, but as it could result in data loss, we do need to ask for confirmation first.

  Yes

  I only used the “staging” website for a day or two.

  Downgrading to a free site will not affect my normal website will it?

  No, that won’t affect your main site, as it is hosted elsewhere, and I have downgraded it as requested.

  You can now delete the site by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
