Need to disconnect external sites from WordPress.com
-
I have several external sites linked to my wordpress.com account. I would like to disconnect them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. There used to be a support doc on doing this yourself, but I can’t find it, so please list the URLs of all the sites that you would like to disconnect from your account and then add “modlook” to the tags area to flag this thread for staff. Then please make sure that you’re subscribed to the thread and be patient while waiting for staff to respond.

Thank you.
The sites I’d like to disconnect are below:

Hi Nate,
It looks like that was all of your Jetpack-connected sites. I went ahead and removed them all, and you’re now good to go! Let me know if you need anything else.
-
Oh! I forgot to mention. You included a site:
natecooper.net
It wasn’t attached to your account in any way, so naturally there was nothing that I could do. Sorry!
-
Thanks amightywp
natecooper.net is no longer an active domain (it redirects to natecooper.co) but it appears in my WordPress.com account under “All My Sites.”
Do you have any ideas how I can get rid of it there?
-
Was it a domain or redirect which you purchased via WordPress.com or was it a Jetpack-enabled site?
If the latter, it’s not showing up anymore on our end (there are literally no more jetpack-enabled sites showing for us on this account). If you have another account that it is linked to, comment in this thread from that account and I can take a look. Otherwise, perhaps try disconnecting that new jetpack account from within your WordPress dashboard and then reconnect to see if it goes away.
-
Thanks amightywp. I don’t see it anymore. It’s possible I was looking at a cached version. All of these were Jetpacked sites.
Thanks again.
-
That’s very strange! I’m sure it won’t come back (unless you reconnect it), but if by some chance it does please let me know. That shouldn’t have stuck around.
Thanks for letting me know it disappeared!

Hi, I also need some sites removed from my “My sites” page. Funny thing is that there is at least one site I don’t see on that page, but I regularly get notifications on it: http://aromaticnikutak.hr/
The other sites are http://podij.ini.hr and http://zagrebackiglazbenipodij.hr, both of which are defunct but for which I’m getting an error on the My Sites page.
Thanks!

I need help, please, with my website that go deactivated by earthlink, my hosting services. I reactivated my account but they will not retrieve my files. I have built dozens of pages in wordpress and I am sure there is a way to have my files back.
I have used wordpress for the first time in the course of last year, built my whole website there not thinking that those pages are not going to be on my computer, too.
For me to recreate all from scratch is going to take forever. If someone can please help me find my website pages on wordpress, that would be incredibly helpful.
I don’t believe that things can disappear. Nothing disappears from internet. -
@vesnaatuat
Please be aware that your issue is NOT a WordPress.COM issue. I’m sorry but we cannot help as that site is not hosted by WordPress.COM and those are the only blogs we provide support for.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Hi Berislav,
I was able to remove the first two sites which you mentioned, but the third site does not appear in your list of sites attached to this account.
In the future, if you could please start a new thread instead of continuing someone else’s we would appreciate it!
