Need to embed video I transferred using ftp

  how do i access files transferred using ftp? I used filezilla to transfer a larger (50mb) video file to my blue host server, to the same subdirectory all the other videos are that i transferred directly in wordpress. however, in my blog/post, I can’t figure out how to embed the video (I don’t want a link but the actual video). Can you advise? Thanks.
