After that, not that if you subscribe to this topic, then you will be notified when there is a response.

    Our wordpress.com site is:

    innicanow.wordpress.com

    I have moved this to:

    innicanow.mynica.me (mapped to innicanow.com)

    Jetpack is installed

I would also like to be able to continue monitoring my visitor stats seamlessly. I have hooked the new site into my wordpress.com account via Jetpack for that reason.

    … following thread …

  • In Nica Now,

Are you intending to have jetpack connected to innicanow.mynica.me or innicanow.com?

  • Unknown's avatar

hi there rootjosh – as mentioned above, jetpack is already installed

  • Right, but you have jetpack connected to innicanow.mynica.me and yet you also mention innicanow.com. You need to have jetpack connected to the URL that you intend to use. Because if you change what jetpack is connected to after your followers are transfered, they will then not appear at your new URL.

So, Are you intending to have jetpack connected to innicanow.mynica.me or innicanow.com?

Hi there rootjosh – I will clarify:

nicanow.mynica.me is the subdomain that my wordpress multisite subsite lives at. It is mapped to innicanow.com … they are the same thing and they are jetpack enabled.

  • I have migrated your subscribers and followers to your new site.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

    Thank you rootjosh!

How come my WordPress.com site says I have 535 followers and my new site only says I have 387?

Also, can we pull forward our stats as well? This is all the same site so it would be best for me if we could see all of our stats reflected in the same place.

  • How come my WordPress.com site says I have 535 followers and my new site only says I have 387?

If you are referring to the “Join 535 other followers” that is displayed on the front page, that number includes social network followers as well. We cannot transfer them. Though one would assume that once you are reconnected to FB/Twitter/Etc those people would be following you once again.

Also, can we pull forward our stats as well?

I have now merged your stats as well.
