Need to extract files and database

  I recently bought a hosting service and I need to pass on my backup files and database to them in order to set up my hosting and move over to a new server.

  I dont know how to do this (even after reading this article https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress. It says my host can do this for me, which is WordPress. Who can I contact to get these files and database.
