Need to figure out domain cancellation vs transfer issue

  Hello

  I was a bit confused and am really hoping you can get back to me soon on a domain issue.

  I registered startactingcrazy.com and then cancelled it, thinking the domain would become available again, so that I can register it through another service.

  Now I realize that perhaps I should have transferred rather than canceled within that 48 hour period, so as to make sure I don’t lose that domain.

  Can someone help me resolve this issue? I REALLY need the domain :(
