Need to figure out how to not have my self-hosted site show up on wordpress.com

  I want my account deleted. The blog is showing my self-hosted blog and I don’t want to delete that blog . There is NO dashboard showing so I can’t even make it private. I believe that this may be a gravatar account issue because I had an account there and it seems like now it is a wordpress.com site. Please, can anyone help. Please note that moosetique.com was never a wordpress.com site – it has always been self hosted.

  There are no WordPress.com blogs on your account, and http://moosetique.com/ is definitely not a WordPress.com blog.

  However, you are using the Jetpack plugin on http://moosetique.com/ which does require a WordPress.com account to function.

  Thanks for your reply, macmanx. Can you tell me why it shows moosetique.com under “My Blogs” and is it like having duplicate content for search engines? I would love it not to show there.

  Also, I don’t think I have a Jetpack plugin on my site. I put it on once and decided not to use it. Is there something I need to do to remove it other than deleting it?

  It’s only there because it’s connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack, it’s not a duplicate, but it is your blog. :)

  Also, I don’t think I have a Jetpack plugin on my site. I put it on once and decided not to use it. Is there something I need to do to remove it other than deleting it?

  If you’re no longer using Jetpack, I can remove the listing from your account, so it won’t show up in the My Blogs tab. Would you like me to do that?
