I am new to this. I started my blog by going to a site like, “starting a blog in 3 steps” or something. Any way as I was fumbling through the process I happened on a page which had a picture of a beautiful, sunny landscape with grassy rolling hills, and Maybe a tree. In the lower corner there was a butterfly sitting on a blade of grass or a flower. Every once in a while the butterfly would open and close it’s wings. Instantly I could imagine putting a picture of my mother and brother. Finally to my question(s); is this type of page a widget in it’s self or is the moving butterfly a widget added to a static page. I really need that picture and will pay what it ever it takes to get it. The site is up but I plan on drawing major attention to it locally with bumper stickers and stuff. This is by no means a memorial site but that page with a couple small pics in the upper corner would be perfect as the opening page. The calm before the storm if you will. Has anyone seen it or kinda know what I’m talking about. I’m sorry for this long, long question but I have been fighting a long solitary fight and I really need this. Sorry again I know I may sound like an unstable nut but…… Thank you,

I have no idea where you would find that but have you tried googling for it?
I just put in ‘animated butterfly image’ and was rewarded with more butterflies than I could cope with!
I think you will just have to do a search to find that specific image. -
Sorry, I really don’t know what I’m doing. I do know it is hosted by Bluehost. But isn’t all my stuff from wordpress? I chose .com because I thought it sounded badder and scarier then .net and doesn’t .org require an actual organization. I for sure am not a code writer. As far as I am concerned that’s magic stuff. I do understand electronic technology though. Sorry again and thanks for your time.

Scroll to the bottom of your theme and click the “proudly powered by wordpress” link please. To be clear your site is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and you will not find support for it here. It is a WordPress.org install using the WordPress.org version of the theme.WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.

Obviously I am a neophyte and my site is not a typical blog. It was created to serve a very specific purpose. But now that I’ve gotten my feet wet I am looking to start a “real” blog with a much different tone. Thank you for the follow up. I’ve read through much of the fourm and found there are a lot of classy people here. First rate. Well on to the .org site. Perhaps we’ll meet again when I am more organized.
