Hi there, I have paid someone to create my webpage, and I am always at his mercy. If I ask him for something, he gets offended and shuts down my site, I need to get full access to it and link it to my godaddy account

Hi there @creditrivercritters sorry to hear that you are having this issue. That sounds like a terrible situation to be in You did not mention the address (URL) of your site but you did mention that it’s hosted at GoDaddy.
Because of this we’re not able to help directly. To clarify, we are a hosting provider (like GoDaddy) and both our companies offer WordPress sites to the public, but we’re not actually connected to one another. For help with your GoDaddy site you typically need to turn to GoDaddy.
With that said, it may be possible to move your site to our managed hosting, where it would be fully under control, and you would be able to seek help any time you need it using our in-house support. Perhaps you can share the address of your site so we can take a closer look?
How feasible this is will depend a lot on the access you have to your site now though. Out of curiosity, do you have the ability to install plugins on your site? Or is this something that you need your developer to help you with?Thanks for the additional info!
