Need To Get Rid Of A Forgotten Blog

  Hello, I found that I made a WordPress blog over 10 years ago and had forgotten about it. I’m concerned that it will direct traffic away from my new blog if found in searches. Is there any way that the old blog can be deleted? I no longer can access it. The address for it is https://thecaterwaul.wordpress.com/

  You will need to recover the account that owns thecaterwaul.wordpress.com before the site can be deleted.

  thecaterwaul.wordpress.com is owned by thecaterwaul. Please try logging out of WordPress.com, then log back in with that username — it can also be used to reset the password if you have forgotten it.

  If a password reset email doesn’t come through (please also check your spam folder), the account recovery form will be the only way to recover the site:
