Need to have image across full screen on home page

  I am trying to get a picture of an ocean to go across the full screen on my home page. Does anybody have a CSS or html to help me out on this topic? I am using the Collective Theme and that demo showed the home page picture full screen.

  Hi there, to have the image go full width on your home page, you need to set the image as the featured image on that page instead of inserting it into the content area. The featured image used as a header on single posts and static pages needs to be 1600px wide by 600px tall.

  I would suggest cropping and resizing the image in an image editing program to the above mentioned size and then upload it to your media library and insert it as a featured image on your Home page.
