Haven’t received icann verification email. Definitely would like to get the site verified.

According to whois.com the status of your domain says it is “clientTransferProhibited.” This is explained here:
https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/epp-status-codes-2014-06-16-en#clientTransferProhibited
Perhaps Automattic support can give a better explanation (or if they are already working on it). This kind of status has to be requested to be removed by the registrar.
