need to know how to post ads on my blog

  I have an account with AdSense, but cant for the life of me figure out how to post the ads in the right hand side column under archives, any help please?

  In a nutshell, we are not allowed to advertise on wordpress.com blogs at this time. Perhaps in the future according to the last paragraph here: http://wordpress.com/features/
