Need to know more about wordpress multisite feature specific to my use case
-
Hi Everyone,
I have a website branch.co which have geo tag locator, which redirects the user to branchapp.in if the user is form India, branch.com.ng if user is from Nigeria, and branch.co.ke if the user is from Kenya. We want to setup blog section for each of the domain that specifically cater to the local topics of the region (i.e., Global-branch.co/blogs; India-branchapp.in/blogs; Nigeria-branch.com.ng/blogs; Kenya-branch.co.ke/blogs). Currently we don’t have a CMS and we are willing to have WordPress as our CMS. Can anyone help me how can we implement WordPress Multisite here so that I can have my blog sections as mentioned above in single centralised WordPress setup?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @diwassite
I see that your goal is to maintain a centralized WordPress setup that manages regional blog content for multiple domains.
Currently, we at WordPress.com do not support multisite. Plans here are designed for a single website per subscription. You can still create and manage multiple WordPress.com sites under one account, but each site needs its own plan.
You can explore our plans and features here: https://wordpress.com/pricing
If running Multisite is essential to your strategy, we recommend Pressable. It is part of the Automattic family, just like WordPress.com. Pressable fully supports Multisite and includes:
- Free SSL certificates
- Free staging environments
- Unlimited bandwidth
- A global CDN
- 24/7 support
