Need to make Content section wider and Sidebar narrower

    I have just purchased a Custom Design upgrade. My husband is the one who takes care of the blog, but he’s out of town, and I need help! :)

    I need to make the Content section wider and the Sidebar narrower.

    Pilcrow Theme Options only allow me to change the layout but not the size. Any suggestions?

    The theme you are using uses percentages for the widths of the sidebar and the content area, so this is quite easy to do. Below are the original widths for content and sidebar, and what you want to do is to decrease the sidebar and then increase the content by the same about. In other words, if you decrease the sidebar from 29.806% to 24.806% (5% reduction) then increase the content by 5% 64.99% to 69.99%. I would leave the oddball decimal parts of the sizes alone and only work in whole percentages so that it is easier to keep track of, and also so that you don’t run into unintended consequences (such as the sidebar disappearing to the bottom of the site).

    .two-column #content {
width: 64.99%;
}

.two-column #sidebar, .two-column #secondary-sidebar {
width: 29.806%;
}

    I would probably suggest not going much over a 5% reduction as the sidebar starts to look too narrow in proportion to the content.
