need to move domain name

    I’m helping someone who had his website setup by a nephew. According to the view page source, Michael Torbert of Semper Fi Web Design actually did the work. He used Yoast on WordPress. The website no longer works and I’ve been asked to fix it. I’m moving it to a different hosting site and need to move the domain name. We can’t find the nephew who set it up. Would you please help me with this?

    Hey there, that site isn’t hosted with us. To clarify, there’s the free WordPress software (free, DIY; works great as long as you maintain it) and then there’s our hosting service. Here’s the difference: https://get.wp.com

    It sounds like they used the free software with another host. I’d recommend the site https://whoishostingthis.com to sort out who the provider is. And I can see the domain is registered through IONOS, so you might also have your client/friend reach out there.
