Need to move on from Lodestar. I want a theme that has a floating menu if possi

I have a website on WordPress that is using the Lodestar theme. I think that the theme is a bit old, and I have some time to move it to something more current. I would like something with a floating menu, if that’s available.

Hi there, Can you share the address of the site you’re working on?

Since Lodestar is still an active theme, you needn’t switch unless you want to. Other than a floating menu, are there other features you’re looking for in a theme?

The newer block themes can have “sticky navigation.” If it’s not integrated into the theme, you might be able to add it yourself.

    Hi @spencer3d2e441b8a,

I saw that you’re thinking of switching from the Lodestar theme to something more modern, and you’re looking for a theme that supports a floating menu — great idea!

As @justjennifermentioned, Lodestar isn’t retired yet — it’s still available and you can check it out here: Lodestar Theme.

Since Lodestar is a classic theme, and it sounds like you’re aiming for a block theme with more design flexibility, you might want to explore our full-site editing themes here: Block Themes.

As for the floating menu, there are two ways to go about it:

    1. Make the whole header sticky — here’s a quick guide: Sticky Header
    2. Or just the menu itself — check this out: Sticky Menu Only

If you’d like to review how to switch from a classic theme to a block theme, this guide may help: Switching Themes

I hope this is clear — feel free to let me know if you need any further help.
