I need to change the author, if I cant do this with three different generic author. How can I change authors?

Three authors requires three separate users, with three separate accounts. But it’s not clear what you’re asking. Generic author? So, are you asking to use three pseudonyms (nicknames) under one account to represent three different authors?

I have 3 blogs all under one account it has an author from another blog same account. I need to change the author so it appears the same on all 3 blog name? Just need to learn how to change the author. I don’t want to go through the hassle of doing 3 separate accounts. Hope you can guild be on how to do this.

If you are the owner/creator of each of three blogs under one account, how is it that you are not an author on one of them? Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you said, or missing something. If you use a display name which is different from your username it would appear the same on every website under that account.

Hi there,
Every WordPress.com account has its own Public Display Name — that’s the name that appears as the author on any blog posts you publish. You can set that display name in your profile settings.
No matter what blog you post on, that same display name is used as long as you are posting from the same account. If you want a different author name to appear on some of your blog posts, you will need to create a new WordPress.com account to use for the blog posts you publish on that blog.
