Need to Point my Domain

  I will be using the main wordpress software on another hoster and need to point my domain to the hoster to use the domain name i have purchased with wordpress.com. I was in the process of making the website here. How do i delete the website and point the domain to another hoster? Do i need to delete the website?

  Hi,

  You do not need to delete the site. First, ask your new hosting company for their nameservers. When they give it to you, add those to your domain’s nameservers here: http://wordpress.com/my-domains -> Edit Domain -> Name Servers.

  After you’ve added the host’s nameservers to your domain, within 72 hours, your domain will start pointing to the external site.
