Need to point my domain to bluehost
-
Hi,
I had purchased upgrade domain through wordpress with .org address. But, I had cancelled my .org domain purchased from wordpress. Then, I went to bluehost to purchase the same .org domain from the scratch. And I have installed WorPress from bluehost.
But, the domain is still directing
ns1.wordpress.com and
ns2.wordpress.comI have been trying to contact wildwestdomains to figure this out. But, They are saying that due to my domain privacy setting done through “Domains by Proxy”. My account is put on hold which doesn’t let me or them to redirect the servers.
I am not sure how I can resolve this problem. I need to cancel the domain setting done by WordPress purchase. So that, I can point my domain to bluehost name servers.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks! The domain scitechday2015.org is registered here at WordPress.com. Since you want to keep using this domain, it’s in your best interest not to cancel it.
You can’t transfer it to Bluehost until it has been registered for 60 days, but until then you can update your name servers to point to Bluehost.
It looks like your domain isn’t registering it’s name servers right now. I’ve updated them to Bluehost, which will hopefully trigger them to propagate. But if your domain isn’t working in 24 hours, just let me know.

Hi @bycourtneyelaine,
It looks like your domain bycourtneyelaine.com was registered 58 days ago. You will be able to transfer it to a different registrar if you would like after two more days (60 day lock):
In the meantime, you can use it with another hosting service by changing the name servers:
Are you going to be using Bluehost?
