Need to re-create site but I want to keep my address

Apparently I started out with a wordpress artist ‘blog’ a LONG time ago, but I never posted a single thing. Now what I want is to create an image-based website (basically a portfolio) for my art, but all I’m getting is like a blog post editor and I DO NOT WANT A BLOG. How can I scrap the ‘website’ but STILL keep tcarrollartist.wordpress.com??

Find a theme you like – there are a several Photo themes that are designed for images
note also that Posts are easier to sort and they search better than pages so if you are an artist that wants people to find out about you – then using posts is better
