Need to re-import posts from tumble after already importing and deleting them

  I imported all my tumblr posts a while ago, changed my mind and however many months later have decided again that i would like to transfer to wordpress. After importing all the posts i deleted them on wordpress as i wanted to start again. I now need to reimport all my tumblr posts but it won’t work as wordpress automatically skips ones that have previously been imported. Any advice?

  Hello, It doesn’t seem to have worked. I also tried to restore the posts from the trash which worked for the text posts but because i deleted all the media the photo posts didn’t work. Any other ideas? Is it possible to completely delete the whole blog and restart it from scratch but with the same domain name?

  It looks like the importer is still running for your import. Nonetheless, I went ahead and asked one of our developers to take a look at it and see if there’s anything awry. I’ll let you know as soon as I have any information on this!
