Need to realign my coloumn

  I just started my site and the left column goes all the way up the side of the screen covering part of my header. How do I shift it down a bit so it stops at the header and doesn’t cover it all up. My site is http://www.riddellcreative.wordpress.com, have a look and you’ll see what I mean.
