After checking this two post that talk about it:

I cannot solve my problem, even once I change the dates of the posts.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi Miguel, if you still need help, could you please provide a link to the specific page where you’re trying to reorder your posts so I can have a look, and let me know in what order you’re trying to display them?

One thing to keep in mind is that the portfolio in Illustratr is arranged using a special script called Masonry, which lays out the portfolio grid boxes in a jigsaw puzzle-like way that makes them fit together well visually. Sometimes that may override the posts’ date order.

    Hi Kathryn,

Yes I still need help with it, the link is where all the projects are ( http://migueldans.com/ ). The order should be by date.
    Like this:

    LV3 100% И LAMP

    SDV OCHO 33

    MAGIC PEACOCK LEAF
    HARDRIVE

  • Thanks for the additional information. I can see in your portfolio section in the dashboard that you have dated the posts in the order you describe above, but that they are being displayed in a slightly different order on your homepage. This is because of the way the Masonry script works, as I mentioned earlier, to fit together your featured images of varying dimensions in a jigsaw-puzzle-like way.

I can think of a couple of options to try to get the images displaying in the order you prefer:

    – make sure all the featured images have the same height, so the layout becomes an even grid. This would probably entail making the rectangular graphics (LV3, Ocho, and 33) into squares that are the same size as the others.

    – choose a portfolio theme that doesn’t use Masonry, but instead uses a straight grid, like Espied, Sidespied, or Sketch.

    – try tweaking the date/time of your posts to have Masonry to adjust its post display closer to the order you’re looking for.

Just let me know if you have any questions about these options.

    Hi Kathryn,

    Sorry for the late answer,

The first and second oprion, are not a thing that I would like to do. And about the third option I can say that I already tried before, and I guess is not going to change. Anyways I will upload another things so I hope they will change.

    Thank you anyways!

  • No worries, thanks for letting me know!
