Need to recover expired domain

    Hello, I took over marketing a few months back and our website had gone down yesterday. Come to find out the emails were being sent to a email address that is no longer used and the card we had on file was not valid anymore. It expired back in July of this year and I need to know what steps to take or who to contact to recover this domain if at all possible. I appreciate any help. Thanks

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of kimandkenrealestategroup.com?

    That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

    Thanks for the confirmation. I’ve sent a note off to our domain partner to get things started. Typically, we will hear back from them in 2-3 days. At that point, someone will come back to give you an update.

    You’re also going to see I’ve sent an email your way with a manual payment for the domain redemption fee and the annual registration. Please submit that payment.

    Hi there,

    I have a good news regarding the kimandkenrealestategroup.com domain name.

    Our domain partner redeemed and restored the domain. It is now active.

    However, the current domain is not using WordPress.com DNS records. If you are hosting it on a different server then, the setup is fine.

    But if you want to load kimandkenrealestategroup.wordpress.com blog when someone type kimandkenrealestategroup.com in the browser address bar then go to My Site -> Domains -> kimandkenrealestategroup.com -> Name Servers and DNS, and toggle “Use WordPress.com Name Servers” on.
