    Hi @andrewjcrossley,

The recommended featured-image size in Cubic theme is at least 2000 pixels wide by 1500 pixels high. If you upload images that meet the minimum recommended size – or images that are at the very least more traditional (4:3) in width to height ratio – you should be able to get rid of the bars.

Also, you can learn more about it on the Cubic theme page:

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @pavanraheja

I have tried that and does still not do anything, the picture that is actually on full without the border is only 596×596 I have also tried that with the other images and also the 2000×1500 and still no luck…

    :(

    Hi @andrewjcrossley,

After having a closer look at your site, the first image appears to be perfectly fine. The issue with the other two images. Open each post separately and try this:

1)Make sure you set the featured image for the post correctly.

2)The size of the image is verified as 2000px width and 1500px
height, or at least making sure the ratio is 4:3. As you mention, you have tried 596*596 which won’t be suitable. For a Mac – Tools > Adjust Size, can be useful to manage the image size.

3)Also, just make sure that each post format set to standard post, you can learn more about it here:

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks!
