Need to remove teal bar from homepage

    Hi. I occasionally use a ‘featured lines’ page in my homepage to display an announcement graphic. Otherwise, that space is usually white space until I use featured lines again. This last time, when I removed the latest announcement graphic, that space was replaced with a teal bar, which should not be there. Someone at WP once provided the code to make that space white, but it just defaulted back to teal bar. Please help return to white space. Thank you.
