Need to remove the word "standard" from above the title of the post
-
Above the title on each post, it says “standard,” which is our formatting choice. This is a multi-author blog, and the name of the author of the article used to appear above the title. along with the date. Is there any way to remove the “standard” and either have it blank above the title or do it the way it used to be, with the date and author? There is absolutely no reason for readers to know what the formatting option is.

You can’t. Staff have added post formats to the Pilcrow theme.

Thank you. I did notice date and author were moved to the bottom. We might have to look for another theme. Date is important. “Standard” is not.

You can check out the themes here > http://wordpress.com/themes/ and this may also help http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/posting-time-displayed/

The time stamp used to be at the top, but is now on the bottom with the date.
I can’t imagine that readers care what format the post is in.
