Need to remove this site but i am not admin

  Hi everyone I’ve been google searching a way to remove myself from a wordpress site if I am not the admin. In 2019 I was in a college course where our professor used a wordpress blog & I used my primary email address to register with my account. Now it’s 2023, I want to start my own site & learn wordpress. However I cannot get my account to no longer be associated with the blog from my class. Am I going to have to delete my account & start over? Please help!

  Note : I do not think it is possible for me to contact my old professor as he no longer works at my old school & I have no contact information.
