need to remove word: Category on pages
-
Hello! I would like to blog under 4 different pages. I have assigned categories to do this but the title of each page says Category: and then the title of the page. How do I keep the title but take away the word Category?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

CSS editing is theme specific editing. Volunteers cannot view private blogs and we Volunteers do not request access to them. Therefore I do not know what you have done. Staff can view private blog content and this thread is tagged in the sidebar with modlook for their assistance. Thank you. I changed my setting to hidden so that any volunteer who would like to help can! My site is acoffeewithfriends.com. The top menu currently has 8 items but will eventually have 4 when I can figure this issue out. I would like to blog to the 4 different pages so I have set up categories to do so but each of those pages have the title: Categories followed but the title. I just want to remove the word category from the titles. Thanks! I will be patient:)

I see you have the following CSS right now that looks like you are trying to hide the entire title.
.archive.category header.page-header { display: none; }The WordPress and theme software create the titles for tag/category/archive pages as a single string of text which means we cannot hide just part of that string of text. To make the CSS you have hide the entire title on category pages, we need to change the CSS selector part to where it looks like this.
.archive.category .headline { display: none; }
