  Do I still have time to cancel my domain purchase so I can quickly rename and repurchase?

  Cool Thanks. Wasn’t sure where to go to do that. One more question in case you do know, newbie here. If I change to wordpress.org from the .com I purchased can I post affiliate links there? Thanks for answering.

  Depends entirely on your blog host’s terms of service. But most of them allow it.
