Need to renew domain mapping

  I have neglected my blog and want to direct it to my domain after letting mapping expire. Godaddy holds my domain name. The message I get when I try to pay for this is that wordpress doesn’t recognize my domain. (dcnewhouse.com) Please let me know what I need to do to renew mapping to my domain. Thank you
