need to renew my hosting

    I had a website domain on GoDaddy with a hosting on WordPress. Both of them have expired a while back which I didn’t realize and I really need to restore them. Can someone help me resolve this please?

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    Hi @tanyagutsol, if you can re-register the domain, I’d recommend doing that, first.

    Regarding your site content: if it had been hosted here, we would still have the data unless you had explicitly deleted it. So it seems you had a copy of WordPress installed with another host, maybe even GoDaddy. Does that sound right?

    If so, you might check your own files to see if you have backups of the site, or reach out to GoDaddy to see what they have. Otherwise, you can try getting the data off of Archive.org. Here’s the last I was able to find there.

    And if you need to start over, note you’d be welcome to host your site with us going forward, and register your domain with us as well if you’d like. Here’s the difference:
