Need to renew – why is this so difficult?

    We are getting a notification that our domain name cwupulse.com expires in three days. I click to renew and put all my payment information in, and then it seems to process but doesn’t. A message in red appears across the top that says ‘ This blog is not subscribed to some of these products. Did you mean to purchase them?’ with no other information and the transaction doesn’t appear to have gone through. Super frustrated. We apparently have Premium at $99 / year.

    Hello!

    I’ve checked the domain cwupulse.com and I noticed it was registered by the user jamieklouse. So, only that username can renew it.

    Would you mind contacting jamieklouse and asking him to renew that domain registration?

    Hi –

    To successfully renew an upgrade you will need to be logged into the account that originally purchased it. Please verify that you are logged in correctly.

    Once logged in correctly you will be able to renew the domain from your Manage Purchases page. http://wordpress.com/purchases/

    If you are still unsuccessful with renewing your domain you can type ‘modlook’ into the tags section in the side bar. This will notify staff that you need assistance. Subscribe to this thread to receive notifications at staff will contact you here regarding your domain renewal.

    staff-bassist – We don’t have contact with jamie klouse anymore as he is a former student. I am the faculty adviser of the university student publication behind this domain. Is there any way we can transfer the domain to me without involving or tracking down this former student? Thanks for your help.

    Since the domain was included in the WordPress.com Premium plan added by your account, I transferred cwupulse.com to you.

    That domain was already expired so, In order to don’t lose it, I renewed it for you. I sent a manual payment link directly to the email address associated with this account.
