Need to reopen a mistakenly closed account (have tried the account and password recovery paths, didn’t work)

    I registered zacharyszyjakowski.com with wordpress 11 days ago as a memorial site that i was working on for a co-worker. Thinking it was possibly a duplicate, i deleted it., which closed out the account for it. I need access to that domain name in order to create a site for it, but can’t get into the account that it was connected to. I have tried the account recovery option (didn’t work) and the password recovery option (directed me to the account recovery option). PLEASE HELP. I need to get into this site to get working on it ASAP.

    Hi there,

    zacharyszyjakowski.com looks to be up and running – it is currently under a different WordPress.com account than the one you are currently contacting us from. Do you have access to that account still?

    I have the email that was used for that account, but when i made the account i didn’t write the password down and have subsequently forgotten it.

    When i went to reset the password, I saw an error message saying that the same email that I put in was not attached to an account.
    Ok, i thought, i can just transfer the domain over to a new account with that same email. I then tried to set up a new account with the same email, but when i tried to create a new account with that email, another message popped up saying that that email existed in the wordpress system already.

    I don’t know what to do next.

    You won’t be able to create another account with the same address so let’s just focus on trying to get you to regain access to the existing one :)
