Need to resolve a critical error on this website

  While working on the updated appearance I saw a temp maintenance on the site then when I open again I got a prompt that ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ I can no longer access the site

  Would you please re-confirm the site url address you are facing issues with?

  If your website is not hosted with WordPress.com, your website may be using the open source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) which is hosted elsewhere rather than WordPress.com. Please know more here about the differences https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
