Need to set custom DNS records from GoDaddy
-
I’m unable to set up my GoDaddy email account because I’ve mapped my domain to WordPress. I need to edit the DNS records in WordPress, and I’ve gotten those from GoDaddy, but I can’t make sense of them. Can someone do it for me or walk me through it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did godaddy give you MX records to use? Would look something like:
MX smtp.secureserver.net 0

Yes! Here’s what I see:
; MX Records
@ 3600 IN MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net
@ 3600 IN MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net -
Here is our support page for GoDaddy users adding email:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-godaddy-email/
I would try ignoring the “@ 3600 IN” part of those records at first. I do not think they are needed.
Let me know if you have any trouble.
