Need to speak to support, how?
-
Cannot locate a phone number, or even email to them. How can I speak to someone in order to figure out what we need and the costs for hosting, email, etc? Thanks.

You can email WordPress.com support staff (aka Happiness Engineers) at help [AT] wordpress.com email address.
Here are some other ways to get help with WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/
Here is how the three WordPress.com plans compare: https://wordpress.com/plans/compare

Thank you. What I want to do is:
– build the site without posting it to the net
– when all done then post it
– be able to see what it would look like once posted, before posting
– would I have .com or .org in order to accomplish above
– would want to get email from WordPress
– is there anything else I would need to purchase, other than the yearly hosting fee of $129 and the $7 email address fee?
– would Premium membership accomplish the aboveYou can see why I was wanting to speak to someone but if anyone could answer the above I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Mike -
1 & 2 – You can your entire site private by setting your site visibility to private. Check the third privacy option in Privacy Settings support guide.
or you can just set a post private using Post Visibility settings.
3. After you are done with your post, you can preview it using Preview button on the New Post screen: https://en.support.wordpress.com/new-post-screen/
You can also preview pages by clicking the Preview button next to the blue Publish button.
4. You can do all the above in both .com and in .org versions. But the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org are vast. I suggest you check them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
5. WordPress.com doesn’t host email. If your site has a custom domain, you can either use Email Forwarding or connect another email provider to your custom domain.
Email forwarding is a free service from WordPress.com. You only pay for the custom domain. Email providers charge money for hosting your email.
6. You can check the annual cost of WordPress.com Premium and Business plans here: https://wordpress.com/plans/compare and learn more about the plans here: https://store.wordpress.com/
WordPress.com doesn’t charge email fee but you will have to pay it to the email service provider of your choosing. The price varies depending on the providers. You can check the email providers in the second link I added in #5 above.
7. Premium plan will get you everything you want except the email. You can still use email forwarding for free but WordPress.com doesn’t provide email hosting. So its price is not included.
Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
