NEED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE
-
I have tried several times to communicate over this forum to re-install my website, newmoonchanting.com, after it was de-activated due to an error on wordpress’s part. WordPress said our account expired, but it had been set up to automatically renew the year before. No one has been able to help me and my site has been down for months. Please give me a phone number to reach- this is unacceptable.

Staff replied to your previous thread, and outlined that there would be an $80 fee to retrieve the domain.
If you’d like to retrieve it, you should reply to the original thread:

Sorry but that thread is so old that it is closed now. Read what is stated there please.

I would like to recover the domain, but I would also like the $80 fee to be waived because there were enough funds in the account throughout, and we did not get notices (as darnelldibbles mentioned) that there were insufficient funds. Therefore, we were expecting the account to renew as we had previously set up.
Thank you -Lee

Hi there,
Your domain was in redemption, but the redemption period only lasts a few weeks. It is not in redemption any longer, but has been completely cancelled and deleted at our registrar since your last thread in https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/lapsed-site-renewal.
There is no way for us to restore that domain any longer.
The good news is the domain appears to be available again, so you should be able to register it as a new domain. Please note that it is now required to purchase a paid plan on WordPress.com sites before you can register a domain here:

I replied to this by email but it looks like what I wrote didn’t show up here:
Does that mean we would need to build our website again or is the design still there?

It looks like you had an IP address for Weebly added to the domain while it was registered here, so your site should still be on Weebly’s servers, provided your hosting with them didn’t expire as well. You’ll need to contact support at Weebly about that, though.
