Need to start blogging again

Hi there, I started free blog via WordPress back in 2007 until 2018. However I stopped and now 2022 and would like to continue again. How do I activate my account again and I don’t mind to subscribe a basic plan after all this is my personal blog. Can you please help,

My account was locked probably because I didnt login since 2018. Anyway, I don’t mind to subscribe a basic plan but please keep my old blogs and pictures. Is there an option for me?
Not sure how or probably activate my account for me.

Ah I see, you are using a slightly different spelling for this account which is very similar for the one used on elizascott.wordpress.com

I can not access my account however when I tried to write and it says I need to create a Site first. My questions are…
1. After I created a new site will my old blog still in my record

You’re currently logged in to a different account than the one that owns selizascott.wordpress.com. So, creating a new site won’t really do anything about recovering access to it.

I can’t see that https://elizascott.wordpress.com is connected with this particular WordPress.com account.
Can you tell me if you have access to another account under a different email address that may have control over that site?

You have another account with a very similar username. Can you see the difference?

So you need to log out of the account you created four years ago and log in with the correct username elizascott and the correct password for your site.
