Need to switch ‘authors’

First, I love that ‘contact us’ leads to a public forum, not an actual ‘us’, but OK!
I am making a new blog and I created it under an account that already has an existing blog. I do not want the two blogs to have the same ‘authors’ and as far as I can tell I have no option to not have my account ‘username’ show up on the bottom of my posts, I also can’t find any way to close this blog under this account and move it over to my other one. Am I screwed?

If the theme you are using has the content options, you can hide the Author’s bio from the Content options settings. You can follow the steps outlined in this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/content-options/
The other option is to move the blog to your other WordPress.com account.
