need to take an old site down

  I had a very old site that is connected to a defunct yahoo mail email. It’s impossible for me to remove this website. I can prove my ID. Please help.

  Hi KokkieH,

  Thanks so much for checking on my issue. Unfortunately, my site is ten years old and my email address is a defunct yahoo email address. So, the account recovery choices won’t work. Is there any other way. This was my site and I can prove it, and I no longer want it online. I’d super appreciate any help you can give.

  Hi Billy, is there any chance Yahoo will let you recover the email? You might try that.

  Otherwise, please email ‘passwordhelp@wordpress.com’ and give them the information you’ve shared here, along with any evidence you have. They’ll need to evaluate the case.

  Thanks so much for your help, supernovia. Unfortunately, attempts to recover the yahoo email address have been unsuccessful. Pretty sure I completely shut the address down after yahoo was hacked a few years back. I’ll check in with the email you provided. Thanks again!!
