Need to transfer blog ownership…
-
Ok, I have one account with three blogs on it. I want to keep blogs A,B as my own. I created blog C for a friend, and it has been assigned a regular domain hosted by wordpress, and email for blog C is being hosted by Google Apps. I want to separate and turn over ownership to blog C to my friend, because this blog was created for them, plus I don’t want to put them as an administrator on my account, because I don’t want them to have access to my blogs A & B. I now understand that from the get go I should have opened a new account form the begaining for my friend, but how do I transfer ownership of blog C to them now (including domain and email)?

After you log in, from Settings > Users in blog C, send an invite to user C using the email for blog C and make them administrator for blog C. After user C has signed up for WordPress, he can go to Settings > Users in blog C and delete you as administrator or change your role to Editor. That way you can still access the blog if you need to help your friend, but they are in control of it. User access is on a blog-by-blog basis, so even if you make them administrator on blog C, they can only access blog C, but nothing else on your account.
