Need to transfer (release domain mapping)

    I would like to transfer to WordPress.org blog through GoDaddy.

    How do I make the necessary adjustments so I can make that happen?

    I installed WordPress (through GoDaddy) today and it is giving me an error-type page.

    “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

    I would like the site to direct to the new version installed on GoDaddy.

    P.S. Not BlackSockProductions.Wordpress.com but rather BlackSockProductions.com

    Your domain is not registered at WordPress.com but at Fast Domain. You’ll need to log into their control panel to change the nameserver/NS records and point the domain to your new host. Otherwise contact them to help you with this.

    Make sure you obtain the name server values from your current host, GoDaddy. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.).
