need to turn off an accidental redirect
-
Hi
Our blog domain: hearingcrc.wordpress.com is redirected to one of our websites. How do I turn off or delete this redirect?
Cheers
Greg

Hey Greg
I have removed the Domain Mapping, and restored the Domain credit to your Premium subscription.
You should be able to create a different Mapping, or register a new domain with it.
Your blog at http://hearingcrc.wordpress.com/ no longer redirects.

Thank’s Diegoe! However, I have still noticed that our My Blog webpage to the website (https://wordpress.com/my-blogs/) still has the redirect in effect. I have waited over the weekend just in case for the un-redirect to fully propagate via the internet but it has not taken effect. I am not sure what is going on there.
Regards
Greg

Hey Greg,
That sounds weird. If I go to http://hearingcrc.wordpress.com/ I can’t see any redirect.
Our DNS system has already removed the redirect too, there’s no trace of it.
Can you try to log out and log back in? Also, try with a different browser like Chrome or Internet Explorer, or a mobile browser (Android, iOS). You could also try to connect from a different network, like a coffee shop, or even via 3G/4G data connection.
I suspect you are just seeing a cache, and not really what is live right now.
Give the above tips a try and if that doesn’t solve the problem we’ll move to some other less likely options.
