  if you have a domain registered somewhere else you have two options either you can transfer or you can connect the domain.

  1) If you want to transfer your domain it means you would like to move the registration of the domain name to WordPress.com please refer to this support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  2) Or if you want to connect the domain, that means you want to use WordPress.com to host your site without transferring the registration. Please refer to this guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
