Need to unmap domain from WordPress.com
-
I had a domain mapped to my wordpress.com account, the domain was registered via GoDaddy. I recently moved to a self-hosted WP server, hosted also by GoDaddy and chose the domain I had here as the default, then came here and canceled my Domain Mapping upgrade. Yet, the domain (www.lolygon.com.br) still redirects to WordPress.com and displays only an error message. I’ve already changed the domain dns with GoDaddy.
Is it just a matter of time till the domain goes back to GoDaddy or did I do something wrong by canceling the upgrade? Hope you guys can help me with this! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s just a matter of time and could take up to 72 hours to be viewable everywhere. When I checked, only people in parts of Australia and China could view your site at this point: https://dnschecker.org/#A/lolygon.com.br

From what I’ve checked, China and Australia can see it because the name servers there are still directed to wordpress.com, the rest of the world already points do GoDaddy, I’m confused.
-
DNS Checker says most of the world sees my domain pointing to GoDaddy nameservers, but yet when I try to reach it, it still points to a WordPress.com warning
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. “
I really think it’s something that needs to be done on WordPress.com’s end, everything regarding GoDaddy seems to be set up the right way.

At DNSchecker, the A host test for “www.lolygon.com.br” is alright points to the server’s new IP and can be seen all over the world. The same for “lolygon.com.br”, which also shows all the correct name servers in the NS test.
However, “www.lolygon.com.br” won’t show any name server anywhere, except foi one location which still shows wordpress.com nameservers.

I can use both lolygon.com.br and http://www.lolygon.com.br to reach your website, now in the United States. If you’re still getting the warning message, try clearing your browser’s cache/cookies: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
