Need to unregister domain

  I had a domain with my Personal plan (neoprints.ph). The plan has now expired and I have bought the domain using another service. However, it still points to WordPress when I visit the domain. How do I transfer the domain when I can’t access it via my dashboard?

  You mentioned you bought it with another service. Are you able to access that service’s dashboard? You should be able to update the domain’s name servers there without needing to change anything here.

  If you want to remove the old site, here’s how:

  Delete a Website

  And, if you want to redirect it to your new site, you can do that, too:
  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/

  Hi, thank you for the speedy reply.

  I was able to go onto the service’s dashboard and change the nameservers to default.

  But the site still shows a WordPress warning page telling me that domain mapping for the domain is not enabled.

  I’ve already deleted the old site.

  Please clear your browser cache.

  Your browser doesn’t check where a domain is hosted every time you type it in. It checks the first time, and stores that information in the cache, so next time you visit the same page the browser just works from memory.

  So while your domain no longer points to us, your browser doesn’t know that yet, because it assumes there hasn’t been any change. Clearing the cache will force it to re-check, and fetch new information for the domain.
