need to update my headway-child theme

    I had a designer at Bluehost create my website several years ago and they used headway-child as a custom website. However because it was a custom site, it doesn’t update automatically. Bluehost is now saying that my theme needs to updated to match the server which is now php7.4. They said I need to contact the theme provider but I can’t find who that is. Any ideas on how to find the theme provider or how to update my theme?

    Hi there,

    You’re posting to the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We’re not the same thing as the open source WordPress software you’re using, which is made by the community on WordPress.org. So we’re not really able to help with this.

    From some quick searching online, it appears Headway Themes no longer exists, so contacting them isn’t an option.

    So you’ll either need to switch to a different theme, or hire a freelance developer to update your existing theme for you.
